I am getting antsy for a new bathing suit! Which means I am getting ready for a beach vacation or wishing I was getting ready for a beach vacation. But Spring Break is right around the corner. So, I have been doing some window shopping for a new suit esp. since this summer I won't be enormous & pregnant!
Here are some of my favorite finds:
JCrew has always been my tried & true bathing suit store. They always fit me just right cause you can buy separate tops & bottoms. They last for a long time which justifies spending a little more. And they are always classy.
I love this one! My favorite for sure. I am more of a one piece girl. It gives me more freedom to play around with the girls. I don't have to be self-conscious of my stretch marks & extra skin from having kids. I like the ruche in front - it is very flattering on most figures. Plus, I don't have enormous boobs (C cup) so this deep V will be very stunning. Just pair with a wide brim sunhat, some sunglasses & a Stone Cold Fox Lace Low Back Dress. I am Ready baby!!
I love this two piece from JCrew as well. The higher waist & ruche detail covers up my problem area plus it covers my rear end a little better. There is nothing worse than seeing something hanging out that should be covered up!

If you do have a bigger frame, Modcloth has some adorable swimsuits that still feel fresh & classy. All the Esther William suits are adorable! I read that the tops do run a tad big though.

And for the more athletic woman - you can't go wrong with Lands' End swimwear. Here are two of my picks. I like how the top one gives you a choice based on your body type. Plus they have a great tool to get the best fit for all problem areas (i.e. slim hips, flatten tummy, conceal thighs, enhance bust, etc.) plus they are really well made. The bottom one is sporty but still sexy & stylish.
