My Nursing Chair

This is my nursing spot in Evelyn's room.  I love this quiet place where I have a moment with my sweet baby girl.  I rest my head on the side of this wingback chair, and it is close enough to the bed to prop my feet up on.  I use this sweet little pillow for support that my mom got for me when I was a little girl.

It's so still and quiet in here compared to the hustle & bustle in the rest of the house.  Evelyn is very easily distracted.

I love nursing my baby.  I have loved nursing all of my girls.  I am so fortunate that nursing came easily to me and that my babies latch on good.  Luckily, I haven't had any infections or clogged ducts but, I better knock on wood with that statement.  It's actually one of my favorite times of the day.  I get to sit, be still and enjoy the moment!

It's so important to have times like these for yourself during the day even if you aren't nursing.  I am the type of person that is in constant motion from the time I get up until the time I go to sleep.  So, when I stop nursing I have a hard time scheduling in these times to enjoy sweet tender moments or times for reflection.

What's your favorite nursing spot?  Do you make time for a quiet moment in the day for yourself?

I am also writing a follow up article to this one about boobs!  Yes, a little personal but ladies we all have them big or small.  So message me any info that you feel I should include.

Here's a link to another mothering article, Finding my High Heels, that I wrote for San Juan Parent.
