I love a good cocktail that tastes fresh and unique. I also love how each cocktail goes with certain occasions. One of my favorite cocktails is the Salty Dog. It's so yummy and reminds me of the beach.
I love the tang and sweetness from the grapefruit juice mixed with the salted rim. They are super easy to make.
Grapefruit Juice (I prefer fresh squeezed)
Gin or Vodka
Salt for rim
Ice
Lime Wedge

This is my family at the Salty Dog Cafe in Hilton Head Island where we vacationed this summer. I got the signature salty dog cocktail. I also had them make it for me slushy-style. It was really good that way to help beat the heat.
