Embroidering Photos

Two of my sweet, dear friends got married recently.  I kept trying to think of a unique wedding gift for the new couple.  They are such a cool couple and I wanted to give them a gift that was different than the typical registry ones.

I came across embroidering photos.

So I got a really good one of the two of them.  Printed it out in black & white onto fabric.  See my tutorial HERE.  Then I got some pretty embroidery thread and got started.  I decided to highlight Sara's rose head piece and color in her wine in the glass.  On Nick I gave him a purple collar border and colored in his pepperoni.  There are so many possibilities and creative ways to make it your own.

I love the way it turned out.  I hope they love it too.  Congrats Mr. & Mrs. Nick Rinne!!
