The girls and I watched this amazing documentary about the honey bees. It was so informative and so eye catching. I highly recommend it! We are looking forward to becoming an urban beekeeper this upcoming Spring. Queen of the Sun is available on Netflix.

It's really crazy how much of our civilization relies on the bees. I think it would be so cool for our area to have a bee sanctuary. I think I might just have to talk with the Montrose Botanical Gardens. If you aren't a supporter already, you should really consider giving a little donation this year. I love to take my girls there for our date nights.
