I did get around to making some things for my girls this Christmas. Here is a little set of wooden peg dolls that I ordered from Etsy from Snuggly Monkey. They were so cute and matched our family exactly. You can order them to tailor your own family and they were really inexpensive.
I have all kinds of little scrap fabrics and felts tucked away in my sewing room. I plugged in my hot glue gun and got busy with all of our outfits. I drew little faces on them with a sharpie but if I could do it again I would use a paint pen so it wouldn't bleed into the wood or use acrylic paint with a fine paint brush. I also wrote each of our names on the bottom for each gnome version of us.
They turned out pretty cute and Evelyn will tuck them in her purse and tote them around the house.

So so fun! Great idea. Fun twist on the gnomes.
